The Weirdest Things Left In Ubers And Strange Uber Stories

What are some of the weirdest things left in Ubers? You’ll be surprised by some of the items on the list, which makes you wonder where these passengers were going.

Leaving things behind in cars is much more common today than ever before. Taxi drivers of old probably have more than enough stories of items that were left in their cars. You expect items like wallets, cell phones, and jewelry to be near the top of the list, but some items have been left behind in Ubers that make you wonder.

The ten weirdest things left in Ubers are:

  • A Viking drinking horn
  • 10 live lobsters
  • A live turtle
  • Human breast milk
  • Sea moss
  • A ghost trap from Ghostbusters
  • A mannequin head with human hair
  • Taxidermied rabbit
  • 15 hookahs
  • Remy the rat doll

With each of these items, you can wonder where the passengers were going and what they needed those items for. The live lobsters seem very strange, but that’s what the list is all about. Hopefully, the turtle found a new home or was returned to the passenger.

What are some of the strangest Uber and Lyft stories?

In the same vein as the weirdest things left in Ubers, the strangest stories that drivers share can make you wonder about people and hope that they are okay afterward.

Scents that make no sense

A passenger asked an Uber driver if they used perfume. Although the driver didn’t use perfume, they had an air freshener in the car and agreed to put it away if it bothered the passenger. Of course, the entitled passenger took things further, making the driver sit for 20 minutes with the windows down to air out the car and then doused themselves in essential oils to “calm them down” from the smell. This smell gave the driver a headache and lingered for two days.

Late night vomit ride

Many Uber and Lyft drivers have learned that some of their passengers might need vomit bags because they are intoxicated when they get into the car. Unfortunately, during the driver’s first night driving for Uber, the passenger fell asleep and woke themselves up vomiting in the back seat, getting vomit all over the cloth seats in the car. This caused the passenger to wake up crying, which was something the driver wasn’t prepared for.

Restaurant kick out goes bad

After a restaurant manager kicked a large man out of the restaurant, he called the guy a ride, and that’s when things got weird and bad. The man sat in the front seat, messily ate his leftovers, and acted like he didn’t know where he lived because he was too drunk to communicate the address clearly. Eventually, the ride ended at a liquor store with the drunk man telling the driver to wait for him, which the driver did not do because the man threatened him.

Sausage, strip club, and drinking – what could go wrong?

A man headed to a strip club told an Uber driver he was retiring early to make and sell sausage. The passenger was extremely drunk, which is sometimes when the most truth comes out of some people. The passenger told the driver they should not trust anyone who knows how to make sausage because you might disappear. Thankfully, instead of turning the driver into sausage, the man tipped the driver $100 in cash.

Crazy drunk girl

It seems like there might be several Uber and Lyft stories involving crazy drunk girls, but this one is really strange. A driver picked up the woman to take her home, but things went crazy partway into the ride. When he was asked to pull over, the driver assumed the girl was going to puke, but instead, she ran down the street screaming that someone was trying to kidnap her. She ended up calling the cops, but the driver did as well, which made it easier for police to realize the Uber driver was not kidnapping the woman. Strangely, the same woman and her friends had the man as their Uber driver the next night.

Climb and jump to escape

Two women were trapped behind a 12-foot tall gate in a parking garage, and the man they had been hanging out with refused to give them the code to get out. Thankfully, there was a way to get out, but it involved climbing about six feet up and going around to the outside part to jump down. The Uber driver, a woman as well, willingly caught the two woman and took them home.

Between the weirdest things left in Ubers and the strange stories of taking people where they need to go, Uber and Lyft drivers certainly have some funny stories to tell, although some of them aren’t so funny at the time.
